Fabric Cones

 

Fabric cones commonly are used for example in midrange speakers (5 inches).

DKM produces high-tech-fabrics with various grammages from 50 up to 300 g/sq.m.
 

In order to sustain sound pressure fabrics get an airtight coating. Common fabric materials of DKM are glass fibre, carbon fibre and Bimax fabric. Optical appearance of fabric cones can be varied by colouration. For instance DKM produces black aramid fibre fabrics.
