Plastic Cones

 

Plastic cones provide a strong internal damping and allow a very balanced frequency response.

 

Moreover plastic is a very tough material, that suits well for example to outdoor applications. Plastics used by DKM are resistant against

corrosion and water and show a high UV

stability. By means of suitable spacing

materials (e.g. talcum) the plastic stiffness

can be Increased additively.

 

Plastic cones produced by DKM are

deep-drawed on the basis of PA, PC,

PES, PP, PS or innovative materials

like PEN and PPEK.

Typical materials used for injection moulding are filled or coloured polypropylenes.
