Dome Diaphragms

 

Commonly dome diaphragms consist of a very fine fabric and integrate a fabric dome and

a surround. The surround of a dome diaphragm is not pasted afterwards, but formed

simultaneous to the hard dome production with convex or concave shape.

 

For dome diaphragms DKM uses fabrics

with grammages of 60 g/sq.m, that

are coated according to the application.

The optimal balance of fabric and resin leads

to the required mechanical strenght.

 

Dome diaphragm’s typically are used for

tweeters in sizes from 1 to 3 inches.

 

For tweeters DKM furthermore provides

pre-assembled modules of hard dome and

soft surround as assembled dome diaphragms as well as conventional tweeter cones.
