Surrounds

 

A loudspeaker’s surround is the flexible joint between cone and chassis.

It serves for absorbing the vibration’s energy without interfering the dynamic behaviour of the moving loudspeaker components.

 

In Germany DKM produces surrounds in various designs and colours up to 12 inches. In UK DKM mainly produces surrounds of fabric in sizes up to 24 inches.
